Our Mission & Ideals
At Socio Sphinx Collective, our work spans local wellness events, educational resources, and social advocacy β all designed to foster awareness, resilience, and meaningful action.
We have envisioned a threefold approach:
β Uncovering our communitiesβ stories by connecting on universal topics like mental and emotional health, current and lifelong stressors, along with many other social issues we are facing.
β Creating pathways for healing and positive life changes by promoting and offering an eclectic range of recurring wellness-related events, along with information sessions, at low to no cost to attendants.
β Utilizing the information discovered through these connections, along with further in-depth research and data, in composing advocacy briefs for submission to our social decision makers.
For now, βweβ is just me!
Iβm Francesca Rompal β Founder & Director of Socio Sphinx Collective
With an M.A. in Sociology and a deep passion for understanding the intersections of mental health, social justice, and community wellness, I find myself dedicating this avenue of my career to advocating for my peers and our universal struggles.
Who We Are
My background includes academic research on rehabilitation, mental health, and criminal justice reform, which I am eager to expand upon with this platform.
My story also includes experiences with mental and emotional health struggles, various traumas, and a host of other beautiful lessons disguised as misfortunes.
I will wax poetic in future spaces; for now Iβll say, our lives are uniquely individual and yet so many of us can relate to one another in often unexpected ways. Creating a space that can help facilitate these connections, and where all feel welcome, is an honor and a privilege β even from the start line.
